ZazaDSP uses the smallest possible set of cookies: two, both strictly necessary to run the site. There's no tracking, advertising, or consent-requiring cookie here, which is why you won't see a cookie banner.
The cookies we set
- zaza_session: keeps you signed in. It's HttpOnly (invisible to page scripts), sent only over HTTPS in production, and expires automatically after 30 days or when you sign out.
- zaza_lang: remembers whether you prefer the site in English or Spanish. It's set when you pick a language or land on a localized page, and expires after one year.
What we don't use
No advertising or retargeting cookies, no third-party trackers, no cross-site analytics cookies. The site currently runs no analytics at all. If that changes, it'll be Umami, a tool built to measure aggregate traffic without cookies and without identifying individual visitors, so this page will stay accurate even then.
Your control
Both cookies are essential to features you're actively using (staying signed in, keeping your language). Blocking them in your browser will sign you out and reset the site to its default language, but won't break anything else.
