I'm Leo, a student and software developer.
I've been producing music as a hobby for years, and in that time I've bought and tried more plugins than I can count, to the point of getting frustrated with most of them.
Good tools are expensive, sure, but that was never the only problem.
The market is saturated with products that don't bring anything new: emulations of the same hardware, compressors that all do the same thing, every one of them selling the promise that your music will finally feel warm.
The plugins that actually gave me something, the ones I found genuinely useful, almost always turned out to be built by one or two people working alone, people who actually use their own products.
So at some point I stopped waiting for a company to make the plugins I wanted and started building them myself.
ZazaDSP came out of that, and it still works the same way today: I'm the one who codes, tests, and decides what ships.
What we're trying to build is a catalog of plugins that actually bring something new.
No shelves of compressors and saturators that all sound the same, no sky-high licensing, no DRM.
Every idea becomes one solid tool instead of five half-finished ones, priced fairly, and yours for good.
